Help! Sharp, painful kicks in the bladder. Is the baby breach?

Hello! each time I've been to my midwife the baby has been lying transverse but in the last few days I've been having really sharp pains in the bladder/pelvic floor area sometimes when the baby moves. I'm assuming the head couldn't do this so it must be a foot. My first was an unstable lie and I'm wondering if I have the same problem this time. DD was delivered by C section at 38 weeks. I'm 36 weeks now and I'm told there's still time for the baby to turn. I don't want to have to have an emergency c section if they discover during labour that it's lying in a funny position. What do I do? Help!

Oh, and I don't have a bladder/urine infection. It's only sore occasionally when I feel the baby move in that area.

I'm 30 weeks and getting this too - and a scan yesterday showed that the little one was indeed breech. I also felt a definite foot down low the other day.

Being kicked in the bladder is certainly an interesting experience!

I'm having an elective section anyway so I guess it doesn't make much difference to me, but I was told there still is lots of time to turn.

I think if there is any doubt they will scan you to be sure - ask your midwife when you see her?
