hiya just wondering has anyone shopped from the Glasgow Pram Centre? I was planning to go up to the shop tomorrow to purchase a pram and was wondering do I get to take it away that day or do I need t have it delivered?

If anyone could help that would be great as it would save me a trip if they deliver regardless of whether I order in store or online

Thanks x

Free delivery within three working days on all UK orders over £49.99.
Orders under £49.99 will be subject to a handling/shipping charge of £5.99 (subject to stock availability).

Put your feet up an order!

oh and visiting the shop at the weekend is an absolute NIGHTMARE, packed with what seems like entire families, with long waits to get advice. However, they DO take internet best prices for their price matching, if you bring a print out along (my friend did this for her buggy/travel system and they matched the price-almost £100 quid off!). the crowds put me off, but because of their great deals and the John Lewis price matching promise as well, in January, you could get the Maxi Cosi car seat for FREE when buying a quinny or similar...

yes, they did internet price match for us and we took our pushchair away on the day. it's a fab centre!

It is fab. Some prams have to be ordered. Ours was in stock so we took it away that day. As far as I know they'll deliver your pram for free if itr has to be ordered. We also ordered furniture which arrived on time and was assembled by them too. I've just ordered furniture from the Mamas and Papas website and it arrived 4 days later than expected by some very grumpy men! I'd highly recommenbd the Pram Centre.

We got our Maclaren Techno XT from there, drove away with it in car boot.

We bought our pram there and took it away the same day.

We just went back with the two year old pram to get a new handle (it had snapped under ds's weight ) and they fixed it for a tenner and gave it a full maintenance check as well.

Highly recommend them.

Pretty sure they're still going. Had only good experiences with them. Good service and delivery.
Agree with logrrl - weekdays would be better. Parking a total nightmare and if getting car seat fitted or to check if pram will fit in boot before buying you really need to be parked outside. We were parked at the top of the road just slightly out of site and they couldn't check the fit until we could get a space outside.

I think that shop is inteneded to put you into early labour!! Dont get me wrong the price and choice are great but if you are looking for someone to help you or to order something i suggest you take a tent and a flask of tea!!
But as i said price and choice has us all hooked and thats why we all go back time and time again!!

I bought my M&P 03 Sport in thre and it was £30 cheaper than anywhere else, the staff were fab, they built it for us on the spot and we just took it home on the train.

Would defo rate, it depends if they ahve what you are looking for in stock, we wanted a Nipper and they said it would tae 6-8 weeks free delivery to house or pick up from store but we needed it there and then.
