Baby movement / growth spurts

Another qu about baby movements ...

I'm 26 weeks now and I think my little girl might be having a growth spurt. I'm feeling much more tired and much more hungry than a month ago, and she's really giving it some welly these days! Last night she was pounding me for 90 mins non-stop!

Do babies have growth spurts in utero - or will this carry on incrementally till 40 weeks?!

I know it's normal to feel less movement as space gets tighter - at what stage does this normally happen? 30 weeks?

I'm torn between loving all the movement and wondering how much harder more vigorously as time goes on and she gets much bigger!

Thanks everyone!

Luckily as she gets bigger, she'll have less room to take a run up at your uterine wall!

Last trimester you and she put on more weight than at any other time, plus I've found sometimes my LO can shift position and be quieter for a couple of days, then turn back and really give it some welly. But rather than tapping or kicking movements, they become pushing, rolling ones. Usually if something sharp is sticking out then pressing it gently with my fingers gets it retracted.
