Thinking it was her feet (it's obvious now but I really wanted it to be her feet) and wanting her to move them. do you think I've damaged her head? I wasn't really rough, just pushed harder than you would if you knew it was someone's head.

no, it'll be fine.

They are well protected inside there, you know

how far gone are you?

38 weeks exactly, so it's looking unlikely. Have been lying on the ironing board/ being on all 4s a lot/ having moxibustion since I found out on Friday and am having an ECV tomorrow. Wanted a home birth originally but now just a head first one will do!

have heard of lots of people who the ECV worked well for, so don't despair!

Good luck with it

Some babies turnat start of labour apparently.
I really feel for you. I desperately want another home birth (this will be the last according to DH) but have scan tomorrow as MW can't tell if breech or not (36 weeks). I think I'll probably have a fight for a natural birth and don't know if I want a panicky H around either.
Keeping fingers crossed for you and ECV working.

oh I did this - kept shoving DDs head (that I thought was her feet) that felf like it was coming through my chest bone - v.uncomfortable!

oh and she never turned.

She is 8 now and fine

I've always had a tendency to walk into things. Usually my knees, hips and shoulders take the brunt. While I was pregnant with DD it was her head . She's nearly 2 now and seems fine.

DD was born as a breech baby at home with IMs, btw - more than happy to talk about it if it would help anyone .

oooh Tangle, that's cool. if I had a breech baby i would be spending all my savins on an IM for a home birth.

how was it? is your story on the homebirth website?

Yippeeeee she had turned before they even had chance to try the ECV.

If anyone wants details of a fabulous and lovely acupuncturist in South East London, let me know because I'm sure it was her that did it!

And thanks for the messages - don't think I realised how anxious I was until I felt the relief!
