Pregnancy

Oh bumflaps....possible v v v early miscarriage. Can't decide whether or not to avoid alcofrolic drinks tonight.

Title says it all really. I've been spotting since approx 7dpo (have always had short luteal phase). Got a +ve pregnancy test at about 11dpo (day before yesterday). The line looked stronger when I took a test yesterday. The spotting was extremely light, and had all but disappeared by yesterday.

Just been to the loo and there;s a splodge of blood in my pants.

Arse...don;'t really expect any answers from you lot. Just letting off steam.

I think I'll just avoid alcohol tonight anyway, and I'll recreate New Year's Eve another night if my period comes.

Can you nip to A&E before it gets really busy tonight? If not steer clear of booze!

Hope all is well BTW.

I'm sure the one at midnight won't do any harm.. it won't make a difference if a miscarriage is inevitable. I had bleeding which was so bright and cramps which made me collapse to the floor.. but all is well, so don't throw in the towel just yet! Hope everything stays well for you

Don't go near A and E on NYE! Anyway there'd be nothing they could do for you as its too soon to scan and your hormones are clearly present so a test will be positive whatever is happening. One drink won't make any difference.

Agree with SheWillBeLoved. And would defo advise against a trip to A & E tonight!

Oh thanks all

I've just got back from a virtually alcohol free dinner out. Had a few sips of wine to divert any suspicions. Might have a glass of champagne later on.

I know bleeding in pregnancy is pretty common, but I didn't get any spotting or anything in my last two pregnancies. I know I'll just have to wait and see. It's tough being a pregnant control-freak
