Back ache / LOTS of pressure

I am 22wks & for the last few hours I have had really bad back ache/ lots of pressure in my middle to lower back & strong crampy period pains that come in waves.. both of which are leaving me feeling rather sick & taking my breath away
I have been out for a walk & am about to have a bath but I can't seem to get it to ease off / stop.
I have taken painkillers too.

Anyone got any advice on what it could be / how to stop it.

back ache is quite common in pregnancy but period pain could be a sign of a urine infection. i think you should call your midwife or the labour ward of your hospital to ask their advice. they might want you to go in and get checked
