What first alerted you to the fact you were pregnant. Was it the missing period, or did something else trigger the "hmmmmm, what if" feeling???

DC1 - went off fags and booze a few days before period was due

DC2 - got hot flushes and felt extremely 'hormonal' a few days before period was due

dizziness and wind/constipation ( well, you did ask !) before i'd even missed AF. Oh, and so tired i kept falling asleep during the day.

Everythinng tasted funny and I remember feeling hot and dizzy .

Indigestion.

was a restaurant manager and was in kitchen chopping lemons when the chef put a Roast Pork next to me. i threw up in the nearest bin. twas like a scene from exorcist!

Same with all six - blocked nose!

bubbly in abdomen and bleeding gums

boobs went huge straight away, and really sore! I'm talking about 8 days after conception - was so strange

needing a wee whilst out walking in the woods and not being able to hold it in.
Followed by very severe 'period pains' which turned out to be implantation!

I felt sick after a large pizza takeaway.

It was not the pizza!

My very first symptom was as early week and half before period was due and that was hot flushes. Real bad!

Then a week before period was due i had brown spotting for 3 days which i believe now is inplantaion bleeding. Also with this very very mild cramping and i mean real mild.

Week due, i just felt different inside and knew i wasnt gonna get my period. I didnt have any pmt either which is odd for me. Was still getting this very mild cramping tho.

No sore boobs at all. Didnt get this full stop througout pregnancy.

Bleeding and cramping which I thought was my AF arriving.. then it stopped after a few hours which made me think "hmm ", did a test.. and boom - there's a person in my belly. 12 weeks now, feel pretty much the same as I did when I wasn't pregnant besides really bad tiredness come tea time.

AFter having number 1, it was the need to put ketchup on everything. (have a tomato product issue while pregnant)

Not found untill at least 10wks pregnant each time.

Sore boobs and knackered beyond belief

tummy felt bloated before AF was due and felt sick, the only thing that helped was eating!

DD found out at 7 weeks after thinking I was dying of liver failure (was at uni) and having horrid sicky migraines not able to get out of bed for three days.

This time, was dizzy and spaced out from about 25 days. Also instantly went off coffee, fags and beer, which has made being a good 'oven' much easier! I've gone from 10 coffees and fags a day to two cups of tea if I can manage them! Gutted about the beer though, last time I enjoyed a weekly couple of halves, hopefully will recover soon!

I felt really awfully sick/burning chest kind of sickness, one day (you know the just-before-you-throw-up kind of sickness). It only lasted an hour or so, and I felt perfectly fine for the rest of the first month.

Then it all came back with a vengeance for the next 6 weeks and made my life living hell!

I had a yucky metallic taste in my mouth which I thought was sinuses playing up, then it dawned on me
