Suddenly feel very ill at 21+2 weeks. Any advice?

Right, just before dinner I started feeling really dizzy and a bit faint and sick. I had been messing about with DD so thought I had jut done a bit much and had a sit down which didn't help. Then thought maybe it was because I hadn't eated as much today so had dinner, which was lovely but really had to force myself to eat it even though it tasted great.

Didn't help. I have just drunk at least 2 pints of squash in the idea that I might be dehyradted as I have been quite thirsty too.

Now just feel really crap, have a really bad tummy ache at the bottom of my bump that is really painful. And I am going hot and cold and shivery.

Any ideas?

stomach bug? i was sick 6 times yesterday and was hot and cold and shivery and then today was fine sickness wise but felt a bit faint at lunchtime. (am 20 weeks pg but think it was a bug rather than pg related).

I think it probably is a bug TBH. Do you know if I should be worried?

My tummy is making really funny noises! Lol. I am not hungry though as I have eaten dinner etc.

Also feel a bit like I need to run to the loo, but when I get there I don't need to go! Poo I mean, not Wee

It could be a bug but is your blood pressure low? I have this problem and it makes me feel very unwell at times. My BP is usually low all the time anyway but my GP said in the second trimester it's even worse...

Don't know as I haven't had a MW appointment since 16 weeks and at the moment I don't have one till Feb. I am going to ring the hospital tomorrow though to see if I can get an appointmnent because I have other worries too.

how are you today? after feeling fine yesterday, I was sick again today and heart felt like it was beating fast/bit breathless so wondered if i was a bit anaemic.

dont feel hungry though so a bit hard to get iron into me just now.

Definitely get a midwife appointment though - 16 weeks to February is such a long time to go between appointments - just incase.

Well I have only just got out of bed! DH has had DD and I just felt so awful. So had a really good catch up on some sleep.

Not sure how I am feeling yet as haven't woken up properly. Will have something to eat and see how I feel.

chloemegjess, I had identical sounding bug a few weeks ago - exactly same feeling that I needed a massive poo but nothing there and was vomiting with the pain in my side

dh then came down with the same thing

it did pass fast though - I just had hot water bottle and paracetemol and bed for the day

am on ANOTHER bug now - never ending.
