someone on MN suggested using Revitol for stretch marks. looked it up on google and it SEEMS to get good reviews. just wondering if anyone has tried it? [

not heard of revitol even though it is 'herbal'. I used rosa mosqueta on my ex's post birth bump and a mix of oils during pregnancy.

I would mainly mix up almond oil and wheat germ oil, add in some lavender, mandarin and neroli essential oils and rub in twice a day but onlky from the fifth month. the rosa mosqueta is for after the birth and is great for not only stretch marks (if any after the oils) but for other scars, wrinkles and blemishes and overall, these suggestions above are far cheaper than revitol (I looked it up) and you can make up as you go from basic ingredients.

I would massage in when my ex woke up and then again either just before bed or after a bath.
the morning batch would have less lavender and more mandarin the evening batch more lavender and less mandarin (mandarin for waking, lavender for sleeping)

Hmmm, yes but not one of those reviews is independent, is it? Please don't waste your money - its very easy to get lured by advertising masquerading as a "product review".

As suggested above something like sweet almond oil will make your skin feel lovely and smooth at hardly any cost. And as for the marks themselves, the colour will fade in time and you'll be left with silvery scars which are much less noticeable.

one thing you can mention to your DH is about who applies the oil

for me, it was the only way to get close to my ex during pregnancy and after birth and applying the oil was the way we eventually ''got together'' for the first time many months after birth

I know, I said the same about my ex, she was gorgeous but she focused on the stretch marks that I was the only one who saw them (what few there were after the months of slapping massaging oil onto her bump)
