Hi

Posted a thread a few weeks a go when I was admitted to hospital with hyperemesis at 6 weeks and had a further 3 weeks in bed until about 9 weeks when I started to feel better.
Went back to work, could eat some foods, stopped taking cyclazine and generally just felt like any other pregnant woman.

This weekend I started feeling really sick and could not eat anything at all- just kept being sick with bile and wretching really.
I am 14 weeks tomorrow, so cant understand why it is re-occuring.

Was also meant to travel to Liverpool this week with work (from durham) and to work some long hours including entertaining clients on an evening.
I have rang boss and told him I would be unable to travel/work.
He was less than sympathetic although he did accept the sickness - just no "oh get well soon, dont worry about work etc" comments (typical man??)

Please tell me this wont keep happening and I will feel better soon
and WHY DO I FEEL SO GUILTY ABOUT WORK??

You poor thing. I am 13 weeks and have been suffering too, not as bad as you though. This is my second pregnancy and on the first , i started to feel better at 12 weeks, and then it came back at 14 weeks. By 17 weeks it had gone. I have found aniseed balls have been my saviour, and also tesco chewing gum, blackcurrant and mint. I was still sick but it helped.

Do not stress re work, just chill out and only go back when you are ready and feeling better.

Fingers crossed it will pass soon for you, if it is still bad, go and see your doctor or midwife.

You have my sympathy, its blooming awful isnt it?

Take Care and best of luck, hope this helps a little
