Is it just me, or do you guys feel the same. At the moment I really can't get any enthusiasm for work at all - have about 8 weeks left until I leave, and really can't wait to finish.

I've got no motivatation at all, and am feeling quite guilty about it!

Hi Hallett,

Well i think you've done well to get as far as you have without any thoughts like these! Im only in week 17 and i have been feeling like it for a few weeks now!!!!!

Dont put yourself down, you've come a long way in your pregnancy and now all you can think about is the next stage and that doesnt involve work!

Just take each day as it comes and make the most of the time you're not there like @ weekends and if it helps, mark it off on a calendar (thats what im doing).

Good luck!

yes, I did as little as possible i.e worked to rule as in our job they take the piss and expect a whole lot more for no thanks/extra pay - I didn't slack I just didn't take on all the associated pap

finished on annual leave prior to matty leave so am finally finished and delighted to be out of there

do you remember those 'come as you please days' at school where you could wear what you wanted and were generally more relaxed - I felt a bit like that

Ah that's really reassuring to hear from you both, as i've been feeling a little bit like i'm going mad.

Have been having a couple of down days too...probably because hubby is away and feel a bit lonely, and generally a bit pants.....so doesn't help when you can't get motivated at work.

Think i'll just try and not worry about it now, and try and unwind and switch off a little.

Have also got some annual leave which i'm tagging on to the start of my maternity so i'm sure that will help!!

thanks xx

Oh god, I almost started a thread like this myself and I'm only 26 weeks pg! Finding it so hard to concentrate and motivate myself... Doesn't help that it's one of the busy times and I feel so behind with stuff. I've even started not sleeping because I'm panicking about how much I have to do before I leave in September

Just hope I can snap out of it soon! I'm normally really organised (well, at work anyway) and am finding it hard to deal with...

Good luck to those with just a few weeks to go! Mumnanny, I felt like I couldn't be bothered earlier on too - but I think that was the MS
