36 wks + experiencing low back aches and low ab pains on and off for 3/4 days, anyone else?

Am now 36+4 days and am sick of constant back ache and sweeping period type pains low down. I even tried sex last night with DH to get the little darling out (I knnow 3 days too early), but the pressure I'm feeling is immense in pelvis as well, so thought it might help DD2 along, as hot curry and sex worked for DD1 at 39+2 weeks.

Has anyone else experienced these symptoms around 36 wks +, I didn't with DD1, just want DD2 out asap, I'd rather have sleepless nights through feeds and changing nappies again, LOL!

I feel for you Sketchi - I'm having the same pains at 39 weeks. Hopefully it's not going to be long or us I went into labour ward to be monitored on Saturday after horrid stitch like pains and was told I was in the latent phase of labour and 1cm but that obviously I could home and wait - so I was fairly pleased if a little bit

so....I'm still here on Monday morning with not a sausage - no change or increase in pain and feeling a little bit about it.

I'm going to jump DH's bones tonight I think , have a fairly hot chilli con carne, twiddle my nipples a lot and keep going up and down the stairs sideways! Have a horrible feeling I'm going to be doing all this for a while though!

I am in the same boat I'm 38+5 days I had a show on Thursday and lost my mucus plug last night but still no contractions just really bad backache a period like pains had a hot curry last night and cracked open a fresh pineapple today even went for a walk around the block (well a very slow one as can barly walk now)and still nothing, hubby refuses to have sex with me no matter how much I beg-LOL as he is scared of hurting the baby even though the midwife said on Friday she is not even engaged yet!!!
Oh well I will just have to keep on waiting I guess

Ah Knockedup and Amethyst123, I feel for the both of you. Am considering going out to restaurant tonight for hot curry, as pot noodle Bad Boy didn't work! and I never eat spicy food.

May try sex again tonight. Something has def got to be happening to all of us......decided to def give it a helpng hand if need be.

Been on the exercise ball all morning. had a few cramps and pains this afternoon, but nothing except major back ache still.

Good luck with getting baby's out and keep us all posted. X
