Is this the baby moving ?

I am a first timer, so I don't know what to expect.

I am 22 weeks pg, and for the last 2 or three weeks I have been feeling little "bubbly" feelings in the area around my pelvis/belly button. A bit like my blood going bubbly for a few seconds? I feel it mostly when I am sitting or lying still. Nothing really tangiable like a kick or anything yet. DH reckons it's LO practicing his bowling action!

Sounds like it could be, to me

yes! that's it.

ooh, how exciting!

It will be ages yet before you can distinguish an actual "kick" but you are definitely feeling your baby move inside you. How cool is that!

what you describe sounds like how i felt when my DS first started moving.

wait til you get a swift kick in the ribs later on and you'll cherish these early little tickles !

how lovely, those first gentle flutters are just so beautiful. Congratulations on feeling your little ones wriggling.

lol, enjoy it as it's not much fun in the last few weeks when the little flutters become a bid to escape through anywhere on your tum. Ouchhhhh

Oh AHLH you lucky thing. I am almost envious. Those first little fluttery, bubbly wiggles are the most gorgeous feeling. I remember feeling overjoyed when I realised that the funny feeling in my tummy was by ds having a wriggle.

Enjoy every single minute

And thanks for making me reeeeeaallllly broody again.

Im a first timer too, I was convinced I had wind for a week then it started getting stronger. I think I started feeling movements really early for a first pregger, at just 16 weeks, my bf could feel the kicks 2 weeks later and by 19 weeks you could see my belly doing the hokey cokey!! Cant wait til I can see what bits of the baby are sticking out. I thought it'd feel really freaky but its fab!! (no painful kicks yet obv!!)

I'm a first timer too (20 weeks). I felt like I had champagne bubbles in my tum. I wasn't sure for ages whether it was actually the baby or not but it got stronger and stronger. Last night I lay in bed I it felt like it was rolling all over the place! I still can't quite believe it.

I remember it feeling like a butterfly fluttering its wings against me [misty-eyed and sentimental due to too much cabernet sauvignon]

Congratulations! Aww I remember those movements won't be long now until you start seeing elbows sticking out and feet in your ribcage . I really miss that feeling!

I think feeling those first movements has got to be one of the best moments ever ... remember the date! Many congratulations to all you pregnant ladies!

My 5 month old dd wriggled like mad inside me and has not stopped wriggling since!
