Am embarassed even to type this, but suffering really badly, am 38 weeks and they are hurting.

Anyone any useful suggestions as finding it difficult to wipe my bum after going to the loo (not for a wee), is too painful, so end up using half a loo roll, just keep dabbing.

Far TMI I know but am desperate

ummm no it isn't nice at all!! I have had them on and off too - try using baby wipes after going to the loo and getting some of the anusol or germaoloid cream although prob wont cure it until after baby arrives. A friend of mine swears by 2 or 3 warm-hot baths a day and when less sore gently pushing them back in... not tried it myself though!

I had a prolapse when i was pregnant (tmi i know ) So apart from sitting on bags of frozen peas, i used really soft baby wipes when i went to the toilet.

I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again this time!

Good luck xx

oooh - feel for you. I was in agony with them when I was preg with DS2
If they are really painful, get the GP to give you a prescription for the Anusol suppositories and use the cream as well.

Make sure you eat lots of fruit and veg and drink loads of water to ease everything up down though.

Loads of sympathy - I could hardly sit down with mine
