Pregnant with mirena coil? (Probably long)

I've name changed because I have RL friends on here but also because I'm probably being stupid. But after DC2 was born 31/2 years ago I had a Mirena coil fitted with absolutely no problems. Was told by the doctor that it was as close as possible to being sterilised etc and I've loved it haven't had a period or a problem in that length of time.

However, about 2 weeks ago I was sitting at work and thought smugly to myself as I had wind in my stomach, wow all these wind feelings I passed off as the baby moving when I was pregnant and had a bit of a laugh with myself. The thing is these flutterings have become more pronounced since then, maybe because I'm more aware of them, they're quite strong just below my rib cage and in my side, and they really do remind me of when I was pregnant. Last night they woke me up, I was laid on my side so I put my hand where the flutterings were, with every fluttering I could feel a physical jab with my hand - could this be wind?

I'm bricking it a bit now, I've searched on the net and can't find any situations of women being pregnant with this coil. The coil is still there I've checked. I have no cash to spare so don't really want to go out and by a pregnancy test if it's just my imagination on overdrive. I don't have any other pregnancy symptoms but then never really did with the DC's, my boobs never grew until I got halfway through the second trimester, never got sick etc. I have put on a bit of weight but not that round hard pregancy tummy more the flabby too many biscuits kind of tummy. I have no wish to be pregnant again, couldn't afford another child and am not remotely broody. Somebody please give me a strong talking to knock some sense into me. I know a pregnancy test would be the best way, but we really are skint and if it's just my imagination on overdrive I'd be so cross with myself if I spent that money when it could have been on food for us all.

Thanks for reading.

Could you make an appointment at the doctors or FPA?

Do you have a Savers near you? You can get PG tests there for 99p.
Its the only way to settle your mind

I'm not in the UK, so the other thing that's putting me off is the language barrier thing and the thought of sitting in the docs for two hours waiting to see him with two kids and then trying to explain while keeping them under control (can feel my blood pressure rising at the thought of it)

I'm not sure if what you are experiencing means your pregnant. But when i usually get wind its usually lower down than under my ribs. also if you were pregnant you would have to be at least 20 weeks to beable to feel movements that you describe. I think after 15 weeks you wouldn't get a +ve preg test (someone who knows better will say exact weeks). I do know of people who have fallen pregnant with the mirena coil so its not an impossibility.
Your best option and to be sure would be visiting the doctor.
Sorry i couldn't be of more help.
