don't worry, these cysts are normal during the early stages of pregnancy. i was told, they form as they are what 'feeds' the fertilised egg as it travels down the fallopian tube and embeds in the uterus, until the placenta takes over. i had one which got quite big too. they are usually gone by the 20 week scan. hth

Congratulations! Please don't worry -it's very, very common in early pregnancy. Something to do with the Corpus Lutem and most disappear withing the first trimester. If they don't, they can be removed without any danger to the pregnancy. I had one that was first spotted at my 7 week scan, which was about 10cm. Was told that they would need to keep an eye on it, and by the 10 week scan it had started to get smaller, so they told me that they wouldn't have to do anything. HTH.

I had a corpus lutem cyst on my 11 week scan, she didn't even TELL me, and I read it on the scan print out and called my m/w all scared, but she said it was NOTHING to worry about and this is VERY VERY common, so please please don't worry about that.

xx
