Sleeping position, worried about squashing baby

I'm 32 weeks and wake up lying very much on my front with the baby kicking like crazy. I worry that I'm hurting the baby and want to know if it is possible that I'm harming the baby and to know if there is a way I can stp myself from rolling onto my front.

I'm impressed you can even lie on your front at 32 weeks! No idea whether it does any damage, I only know that sleeping on your left hand side is the best for optimum blood flow to the placenta.

Have you tried a body pillow? I have one which I cuddle up to at night and it stops me from moving around and rolling onto my back.

I naturally sleep on my front so found it impossible to get off to sleep once the bum had got too big... I got a full length body pillow which I clamp between my knees so that when I turn over in the night it automatically comes with me... So I'm basically still sleeping on my front but half of my body is wedged up by the pillow giving my belly and baby more space

The mw told me sleeping on your tummy isn't a problem.

I second a body pillow, you can sort of lay on your tummy and prop your belly at the same time.

Thanks everyone, I'm not so worried now. I'm suprised I can sleep on my front too as I certainly couldn't with my other pregnancies.
