False Nail Systems - are they safe to use at home

I just wondered if using false nails was a wise decision.

I bought a system where you use a resin, nail tip and an activator and brush cleaner. The resin smells so bad and it makes my eyes water. I used it and had to tie a scarf round my neck to stop the smell.

I know that salons still apply them when you are pregnant, but this was a home kit and now I am worried.

Thanks

I've had arylic nails when pregnant but never used a home kit. I would check with the manufacturers instructions, call the company's number or if you don't get any answers from that then just don't use it, just to be on the safe side.

I'd ditch the false nails during pregnancy.

My own nails have never been so long and strong. I hope they don't snap off after the birth.
