Help, Mumsnet is making me sick!!

Nearly 7 weeks pg and the morning sickness has started and have really strange associations which make it worse. I remember with DD that the loos at work were guaranteed to make me vom and sadly that seems to be the same this time. But now, very distressingly, I feel queasy when I log on to MN! Too annoying.

I have certain things that make me gag as well, if I go to the toilet after a meal I will gag even if I don't feel sick, I was at it last night!

Ha SydneyB, I had/have that association too! Not sure if its because, when my nausea was at its worse two weeks ago, MN was where I came looking for remedies, or maybe its the graphics.

anything a bit 'disgusting' is still making me gag - leftovers in the plughole, wee left in the loo, stray ginger pube left by boyfriend in the bath. I find this v weird as

(a) unlike food aversion, this surely can't be caused by excess hormones
(b) I normally have very little squeamishness.

Heh! No, they are, though, about three times redder than whats on his head. It looks like he has Groundskeeper Willie from The Simpsons stuffed down his boxers.

Sorry SydneyB! But I am interested to see I'm not the only one being 'squeamish'. Just don't understand why excess progesterone or whatever would cause this.

lol at Groundskeeper Willie!!

Know how you feel about the squeamishness...

I have a couple of triggers - the loos here at work have those automatic air freshener thingies. They smell bad enough at the best of times but at the mo they make me heave.

And there's a new lad in the office with a distinctive aftershave on, which again is not good, and also dirty dish water, anything cooking related (dirty pans, plates etc).

looking at this post is there anything that isn't a trigger...?
