anti-histamen?!?

I had anti-histamens prescribed with dd1 due to skin problems but I seem to remember there were only certain kinds you were allowed

my eye has gone up like a balloon red/closed up swollen and itchy and of course its fecking 18:27 so can't get to chemist

I have some in the house but can't remember if they're the allowed ones or not - cold wet cloth has not helped either and am about to literally scratch out eyeball

anyone?!?

Ideally shouldn't have any anti-histamines, but which are the ones you have? Do you have any eye drops instead?

its just piriton I have - tablets and liquid form as wee one has an egg allergy

no eye drops except the ones I was given after laser eye surgery which are only for lubrication

I feel like such a pillock as think this has happened as a result of blowing up balloons at friends wee ones b'day party and then touching my eye although have never had reaction to latex before?!

How far pergnant are you? Piriton is considered safe if you're over 15 weeks.

I have a severe dog allergy, went to visit the folks (and dog!) when pregnant, I went to the chemist at the local hospital, they checked with a doctor as to what anti-histamine I could take, was told only piriton, as it is an older drug they are more aware of the problems. Was 5 months though.
