Lost my appetite....

Virtually completely and I am not sure if I should see GP or MW. I am 18+4. During the first 12 weeks, I struggled too but put that down to morning sickness but at the moment, I struggle to eat beyond lunchtime - even at that, in the morning all I can seem to face is toast or a cereal bar. I can quite happily make something but when it is put in front of me, I just either wretch or push it about the plate after eating just a few mouthfulls.

Any help?

P.S I have lost weight when weighed at my last 2 appointments but no further comment wat made.

Can you face a smoothie (made with banana)? Just eat what you fancy when you fancy it: Your body will tell you. I just wanted lots of custard at one point! I would speak to your midwife for a bit of advice/reassurance, though xx

with my first pregnancy i completely lost my appetite, lost 2 stones by the end of pregnacy, went from size 12 to 8. i was living off salads and couldnt eat anything without feelng sick.

i think my main problem was that before i was pregnant i used to live off junk food and fast food as i had no idea how to cook, but during pregnancy i couldnt eat anything like that and just stuck to fruits and veggies.

i lost my appetite right through until 22 weeks then it suddenly came back (im 24 weeks now). Im making the most of having my appetite back as before I was hardly eating anything, particular;y after lunchtime. I lost over a stone. I spoke to the midwife who said not to worry about it but just to make sere that when I did manage some food I ate as healthily as possible. Hope this helps.
