Hi All,
Baby has hardly been moving today. Normally get loads of activity, but movements have been few and far between today. Starting to feel really worried now.
Any advice?

Thanks!

My advice would be to phone your MW tomorrow if you are still worried and speak to her - not that I think there may be a problem but more so because it should put your mind at rest (if someone on MN doesn't do that for you in the meantime).

You have had some movements so that is good. With both my PGs I went through this at about 32 weeks - the first time round I had had no movements for nearly 48 hours, MW sent me to hospital, as soon as I got on the bed to be monitored the little monster started kicking like mad . The second time it happened at a more convenient hour and I just saw the my MW who found the heartbeat and put my mind more at rest. The next morning the kicks were bit more frequent.

Bad news is that both times this happened to me it was due to them going 'back to back'. This made the movements a lot less obvious for a good week or two until they got big enough to give me a good proper kicking all over and make sure I knew about it

Hi ladies,

Thanks for the posts. Panic over. Was just as Coby said. Little one having a lazy day and started to move as soon as I was hooked up to the monitor. Midwives were lovely though...didn't make me feel as if I was wasting their time.

Anyway, time for bed. Thanks again x

Am 31 weeks and had same thing last week.

Went to hosp (was there anyway for antenatal class) and LO was ok.

It is a bit scary though!
