Seeing that you have just had a bowel op (usually quite serious) I think only a medic who can see your history can advise you whether this is normal. So yes, i suggest calling the out of hours GP service. I don't think it is trivial.

Let us know how you get on.

disney you should only stop meds on the advice of your GP NOT your mw!!! poor you it sounds utterly miserable, please please see a GP asap you shouldn't be having to suffer like this. while all your symptoms sound normal for pg they sound exacerated and i'm sure there's something they'll be able to do to help you

Hi Disney.
from another perspective if your bowel op was a success then maybe its not related to the suffering you have now.
I have suffered wind and constipation all through so far and i am 20 weeks.
MW advised me to take plenty of fluids and fruit etc. I wouldnt worry too much about the weight gain,i too gained weight in the early stages but now seems to have levelled out a bit.
Good luck with your scan

Oh dear.

Disturbing your Dr when you are pregnant is never a problem.

I hope by the time you read this post you have been back to your GP and are feeling better.
