Hi and congratulations on your pregnancy.
It could have possibly been implantation bleeding, I have even heard of people who have had what they thought were periods throughout their pregnancy.

I'm afraid there is no real way of knowing until you see a doctor or midwife.

If you have any bleeding at all before your next appointment then contact your doc or midwife.

MW will not be able to tell by looking at you or with any sort of test she will have, but will probo go with your LMP from November as you were 2 weeks late, then may send you for an early dating scan to establish the dates.
She may even see if she can hear anything yet with a doppler.

Congrats by the way.

LMP is the date of when your last period started. I had the same situation at first, but I wasn't more pregnant, I was only 3 weeks when i found out.

because I had really clear positive pregnancy tests before I was due on, and because I seemed to have symptoms of being further on, i thought I was, but I wasn't. So it might be the same. they'll probably do a dating scan for you.

I don't think your tummy would be tight at 6 weeks as I started showing really early but at 6 weeks, i was just a bit blobby because I was hungry all the time so I put weight on. My first signs of being pregnant were constantly weeing.

Sorry this isn't much help, but just thought I'd tell you i had the same situation and was tricked by symptoms.

My first signs of pregnancy were sickness and sore boobs. But sore boobs come with periods so i didnt get too excited over that.
I bought those ' early' tests where you get about 5 strips of paper that you dip in your urine. i did 3 in the 3 days leading up to my period date and i thought they were neg.day after period was due did a clear blue test and got a positive result.
Then went and took previous tests out of bathroom bin - way hey there was a pink line - a very very faint one !! I guess that line becomes more prominent with higher levels as you go past your lmp date.
Very best wishes for your scan, its such a magical time.

Daisy26, at risk of TMI (too much info ) as soon as you are pregnant hormones make your bowels slow right down and that can often extend your tummy a bit and make you uncomfortable. It does not have to mean that you are any further along than you think, although as said already it is possible that you have had an implementation bleed or a light period.

Have you had any other symptoms, like unusual tiredness, metallic taste, nausea? They often start around six weeks.

i know swimming is ok so long as you don't try for any olympic records.
some places, not sure if its run by hospitals or swimming baths but i have read that you can go to aerobics swimming classes for pregnancy.
contact sports are out. walking is good though, i have 2 dogs to walk so i can keep fit that way.
