my sister fell pregnant with twins twice on clomid. unfortunatly due to an undiagnosed clotting problem only one of the second set survived (rest were early mcs) they told her the chances were more like 10% of her having twins and lower for triplets. good luck with the clomid and i hope you get your bfp soon

I was on chlomid before this current pregnancy (am now just over 15 weeks).....

They scanned to see that the chlomid was working and not too many eggs were being produced.

The first dose was too low for me - and no ovulation occured.

A month later on double the dose - the scan showed TWO eggs being produced.

However, I am only pregnant with one baby!

So - even if you DO produce 2 or 3 eggs, there's no guarantee that ALL of those eggs will get fertilized or grow successfully into babies!

I was quite dissapointed at the first scan to find it was not twins - I had been hoping for "two for the price of one"!

However, I'm VERY pleased to be pregnant at all - and can now see a few advantages to having babies one at a time!
