anyone bought tests off ebay? were you happy with them? were they accurate? can you recommend a particular one for me?... I'm looking for cheap, accurate early testing

I've used the cheap ones, think about £5 for 25. They've been accurate for me. I don't think the price makes a difference to the way they work. good luck.

they all claim to be able to test ultra early and mention 10mIU... can they really?
I'm not sure when to test cos not sure of cycle yet... but have symptoms

A GP friend of mine bought very cheap tests at Wilkinsons, two pounds or something. She says they are just card board sticks, but the same they use in doctor's practices. The thing with reliability of any pregnancy test is that a yes is almost certainly yes while a no is less reliable and you should test again a few days later, pretty much regardless of the price of the thing.

As for very early tests, the small print on the packaging usually says that they are something like 50% reliable before your period is due and only properly reliable after.

Good luck, I hope you get what you want!

Ive used them and got a BFP (although very light) on CD 21. By day 25 it was definatly a BFP

These are better and they are very EARLY tests so you can use them with good results from 9 days post ovulation ( at least that's when I got a positive from them both times) www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk/acatalog/25_Ultra_Pregnancy_test_vial_packs.html

I think they are good but only when AF is late, this pregnancy I had loads of very very faint lines the day before and the day AF was due (got a BFP on CBD) it took a week after AF was due to get a decent darkish line,

With DD2 I had 3 negative tests on ebay but BFP on CBD.

I brought the ebay dipstick ones, and the result was postive a week before I was due on. DS2 is now sitting in his little chair by my feet

i bought cheap ones from accsess diagnostics which are the same as the ones you are talking about. they are supposed to measure at 25miu, but i think it was a bit higher then that. i got very very faint bfps on them whilst on cheap asda ones there was a definite line. i was testing before my period though so if you can wait then they should b fine
