I know what you mean - I have just had a congratulations for staying in bed til 7.20

chuck other half out of bed, use plenty of pillows (if hips getting sore, I have a single duvet folded length ways in half on my side).

I have chocolate horlicks 'snoozoo' drink before bed time.

Still can wake up and if I can't get back to sleep (most times) I will go downstairs & lie on the sofa watching tv (something boring like news 24), and usually (eventually) get some more sleep, but at least get some rest avoiding stimulation like the computer!

I remember this time sooo well.
Read rather than be on the pc- at least you'll be lying down so may fall asleep, stop worrying about it, horlicks before bed- pillow between your legs to keep them comfy

I had pregnancy insomnia last time and have got it again - you have my sympathy. I keep a little lavender pillow beside the bed and grab for a whiff when I can't sleep. Not sure if it works but it helps psychosomatically at least!

I remember even in the most extreme moments of sleep deprivation after dd was born I was SOo relieved I could always fall asleep!
