As my stretchmarks are appearing daily and as i still have 2 more months to go i can see them only getting worse....they are deep about 1/2 cm long on backs of legs but working their way down to my knees, on my belly they are small purple indents.

has anyone tried barmon cream? i have looked it up on the web and the pictures show stretchmarks significantly reduced and it gets a high rating. did you find this helped?

i have tried palmers cocoa butter since day one but it hasnt worked obviously i have now switched to bio oil.

if you did get bad stretchmarks - did they fade? did they ruin the complete shape of your stomach?

thanks xx

I had horrible purple marks too, despite trying various creams and remedies. It's now seven months since the birth, and they have faded to pale pink, and do seem to be getting fainter and fainter as time goes on (thank goodness!). It still doesn't look good, and even if it were summer I wouldn't want to go and sit on the beach in a bikini, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I got pink marks on my breasts too, and now they're just silvery lines, hardly noticeable

I had the most awful stretch marks. I used Aveeno every day when pregnant but it didn't help as I was the size of a bus.

8 months down the line now and I use bio oil every day. My tummy still looks like crepe paper but the lines on my legs are silvery. I'm dreading getting a tan as I think they'll all show up.

Good luck, the marks are worth it in the end.

Use Sudocrem. Honestly. It contains zinc, which is apparently Very Good.

I used an aloe vera gel that my mum promotes and it worked really well
