Fainting Fits

Well today was at the till in Boots when I passed out and landed on the poor women stood next to me! DS (2) was with me and thankfully unbothered by the whole scene. Boots were wonderful, I was scooped off the floor given a drink and the first-aiders looked after me.

Basically anyone else suffering from fainting fits?? I'm 13wks pregnant and had dizzy spells with first pregnancy but never actually passed out, it's made me quite nervous about going out again.

I passed out on the way to the loo in the middle of the night when about 10 weeks pg, DH found me on the kitchen floor. Was fine, albeit a bit shaken afterwards. Never happened again though.
Had you had enough to eat/drink?

I have had a few dizzy spells and fainting attacks it is so scary as i am scared to go out on my own my midwife says it could be my blood sugar level or iron but when gp took tests it came back ok now they think its just "normal" even when i am in the house i pass out this is my 2nd pregnancy and i am 26 weeks .

I passed out in Boots too.

I did it in all my pregnancies - although not always in Boots lol. Mine was due to low blood pressure, anaemia and with the last one repeatedly getting up in the night to ds2. Ds1 found me on the landing a couple of times. It does make you a bit nervous - you need to be in tune with how you are feeling and take evasive action before you fall, ie sit down, on the floor if necessary.

And make sure you eat regularly.

Sainsbury's, or anywhere else where I have to stand too long in a queue in a hot room. Actually I've never quite totally fainted, but I've had to put my head between my knees to prevent it a few times.

It was very hot and crowded, think I needed to have eaten sommat. Need to eat every few hours or feel dodgy. Am going into town with DS tomorrow, keep telling myself i'm 13 weeks pregnant and have only fainted once, don't make a big issue of it!! Glad others have experienced it as well.

Yes me too - I fainted a couple of times when pregnant, including once where I fell down a flight of stairs at home. Not funny at 20 weeks pregnant. In my case I found out it is because I have low blood pressure so I am very wary of this happening again (now 4 months pg with no 2)
