Don't really know, I had 2 m/c but no pains.

Bumping for someone who can give you some advice though.

Hi
I had loads of cramps and sharp pains until about 15 weeks and my LO is now 4 mths old. Try not to panic but always talk to your GP/ MW if you are worried or getting bloodloss etc.
Have you been to see your GP yet? If not pop down and see him for his reassurance

Have a fab pregnancy xxx

Congratulations!
I am pregnant too (16 wks) and I had period type pains on and off at the beginning. I think I had this with my first pregnancy as well and had no problems.

I always get what I consider growing pains - like all the bits inside stretching - in the first few weeks. I'm 9 wks tomorrow and they seem to have stopped.

Best thing is to relax (hard I know!) and remember if you do have a mc there is nothing you can do to stop it anyway.

caitlinn - I had crampy period like symptoms fairly constantly from 4-10 ish weeks and then off and on (I'm now 24 weeks), so don't worry unless there's any bleeding etc. Apparently it's very common and a sign of the little egg burrowing into your womb.

I to got lots of cramp like pains early on in my pg, but they never seemed to stop and now at nearly 34 weeks i still get them.

I know its easier said then done not to worry but the way i dealt with it was, if i was still get my pregnancy symptons then i had to still be pregnant.

All the best and stay positive x x
