Has anybody suffered pelvic pain?? This is my second pregnancy.. with my first pregnancy I suffered coccyx pain after birth and had to have physio which helped immensley. I am now 36 weeks and have for the past month suffered mild pelvic pain on the left side but got really bad last night.. I mentioned this to doctor at my last check up at 32 weeks but she didn't seem to say much. Should I bring this up again with my doctor as I do not want to suffer the same pain I suffered last time... Help! I just need some general guidance ...

hi, have a look here

www.acpwh.org.uk/docs/ACPWH-PGP_Pat.pdf

I really don't understand why so many ob-gyns are so ignorant/dismissive about this when it's so common. Truth is there is not much they can do to help.
BUT do write a birth plan and be VERY FIRM if you can not lie on your back and spread your legs sideways/do stirrups.
Lying sidewaysand hugging knees admittedly one one the most efficient ways to deliver when suffering from SPD.

Mine starts right at the end of the first trimester. Hope won't get too bad this time.
You have all my sympathy.

Thanks Slim22 I will have a look at the website.. I am going for a routine check up with doctor so will insist on the doctor taking some notice about it and maybe even referring me to physio as the pain seems to be getting more frequent.
