Oh do doctors make everyone this made or is it just me!!!! - rant

Hi Everyone

Ok I was summond to the Obs today. Which I was not very happy about don't really like her, she is terribly patronising and speaks with an accent that makes it very hard to understand her. Her sole role seems to be to try on convince me that I have some terrible affliction (being preganant) and that it was some small wonder that I managed to get pregnante in the first place. Particularly as I am over weight. What so if you are carry a stone or two extra you will nevery have sex again . What did they tell every one else and I missed the memo.

Anyway My DH took the morning off work to come with me, so support as I really didn't want to go. Well appointment was at 11.00 am and after waiting over an 1.5hours we were the last people in the waiting room. Having been one of the first to arrive, everyone that came after us was seen befor us. We were told that everyone had gone to lunch and we would have to come back latter. I was so cross.......

Anyway we left and didn't go back, no appology, no explanation just oh well come back after lunch and we will try and see you in the afternoon clinic.

Ok Rant over....

That's out of order.
Write a letter to the hospital complaints dept.

Complain to the surgery. They must have a complaints proceedure. What you have described sounds totally unreasonable. Can you avoid going to see her again? Can you request to see someone else instead next time?

I thought I was just me being unreasonable.

It just so bloody annoying you even try and turn up for an appointment 1 min late and you get the standard oh well your late xxx lecture. (I am very very rarely late for anything)

I don't really want to be seen by an Ob anyway but because they have me down as a high risk preg you have to be seen under constultant lead care. It sucks I hate doctors and I am sure I would be a lot better off with a Midwife.

I'm past 14-5 and I have been totaly fine. well terrible sickness or as I like to think of it progestone poisoning! But If they had a cure for that I am sure that pigs would be flying.
