Hi everyone - I'm 30wks pg and started feeling very weak, faint and sick last night which hasn't really gone away. No pain or bleeding just a feeling of all is not well iykwim. But no fever, so no infection. Anyone else had that? I'm thinking maybe extreme tiredness (i have DS who is 2 and DH works away, no family near so no let up there!) or low blood pressure maybe??? anyone has any experience of this? whatis the best thing to do (apart from the very obvious rest!) thanks

Speak to your midwife or GP. Have you had bloods taken recently?

You probably do need to up your iron intake at this stage. An iron rich diet was never enough for me. I took sachets of Spatone, from the chemist, which doesn't cause constipation! And rest with your feet up.

And don't worry

Thanks Duchess - I feel a lot better today actually. Think it was just total exhaustion. Such an odd feeling though - our bodies certainly get pushed through the mill don't they?

Nellie - I found that i started to have more 'off days' around your stage too. Totally random, not feeling quite right within myself days. Agree with Duchess - talk to your MW, iron supplements may help.
I just realised that on off days - need to rest and take things easy. After a good nights sleep, I feel much better.

Are you still getting all your baby kicks?

the baby is kicking loads - that was part of the problem to be honest; not so much the kicks but the constant squirming was making me feel really nauseous. I think you're right though, there will be more off days. thanks for all your help everyone.
