Sorry to say if it is carpal tunnel then it won't go away until baby is here. I had it with DS1 and ended up having to wear a support thing for my wrist/arm.

Suggest you see your GP.

It may go away when your pregnancy ends but its not guaranteed.
It is the median nerve in your wrist which becomes inflammed and causes the pain.
I dont think tingling is a definete sign although it is for other conditions.
Google it and see what you come up with.

Carpal Tunnel affects the palm side of your thumb, index and middle fingers (and half of your ring finger). It is caused by compression of the median nerve as it passes through tht carpal tunnel (small bones covered by a strong band of fascia) in your wrist. Common symptoms are pins and needles, numbness and pain in the fingers I have mentioned.

Pain/numbness further up your arm is unlikely caused by a problem with the median nerve, much more likely to be problems with the nerves as they exit the spinal cord in your neck.

If still in pain tomorrow I would go and see your GP.

I had carpel tunnel with my first, if it wasn't tingly, I had the dead weight feeling, and what sent me to the Docs was my fab ability to drop things, from coffee mugs, to the shower head and other things
I was at Uni at the time and things like lots of typing were not helping me.. so I was referred to a physio, who gave me splints for night.. didn't improve until after the birth and I was fine again
