i really like a name but its a name one of my friends has always liked and was gonna name her babies if she had a girl. Well shes ended up with two boys and says that is enough for her but she might consider in a few years depending on how she feels. Well i really like the name sophie but feel awkward knowing that was the name she would have or would give her little girl if she ever did one.Would you just go ahead anyhow.

And what do you think of these names:

Joseph Alex or Alex Joseph for a boy

Sophie Isabella

Jessica Paige

Erin Jade for a girl

Defintaly ask, but to be honest
I'd find another girls name if that's always been her name for a girl. it would be dangling her girl she didn't have in front of her face.

Alex Joseph and

Jessica Paige are nice.

I dont think she is too bothered now about having a girl as she says she feels complete with two boys. The thing im thinking of though is if she did have another child it wouldnt be until 2 or 3 years time so its not like they would be friends if you see what i mean i was gonna change it to sofia but it doest feel the same. And so many names today are common.

i wouldnt have it just because of knowing about her wanting it and you never know in the future she may have more.

My mom really liked Jodie and Sophie they are pretty close and couldnt decided. She ended up choosing just after she was born and after a conversation with another patient who she knew who also had a girl.

they both liked Jodie and Sophie, my mom got to choose which she wanted and had Jodie so she had sophie.

and they are best friends now

sorry probably irrelevant but i think its a lovely story

Sophie is a pretty name but very very very common at the moment. There will probably be about eight in her class at school

You don't have to ask for God's sake!
She doesn't have bloody copyright over them.

I don't lke any of those names.

They're all dull.
Erin Jade is chavvy too.

I'd ask her if I were you. she may not ever have a girl and even if she does it will be years in the future. I have two boys but I have a girls name picked out in case i ever have one, but that's not very likely. i wouldn't mind if a friend wanted to use it.
