put your feet up in the evenings and go to bed as early as you can. It will pass BUT I was falling asleep about 8pm for the first 3 or 4 months

Second trimester is much better. The first one is the worst in many ways as you feel awful but can't really announce it.

I wanted to fall asleep in a meeting this afternoon and just kept talking in a bid to keep myself awake!! Lucky old colleagues!!

It does get better once the first trimester is past although atm you probably can't see it

I'm perpetually tired and in my second trimester at 16 weeks!

I fear sitting down now because all I do is nod off.

lol, sorry.

I do have a 3 yr old and a 9 month old so they might have something to do with it.

Am 6+4 so still have a few weeks to go. Having a toddler and working is NOT helping! It was so much easier last time....

Presumably you get a lunch break when you could go for a snooze in your car?

Parked, obviously...

And forget the gym. Its not like you're going to get to the gym once the baby is born, may as well give up now... (exercise is overrated. Sleep, on the other hand, is to be treasured)

If you're tired, its for a reason - your body is working seriously hard at the moment, so if you feel tired and can, then take a rest.

I'm not so bad now (10+6) but at 6/7 weeks I was like a zombie. It got to the point where (I'd already told my boss by this point) I'd take a long lunch every day, drive my car to the local park and have 3/4 of an hour's kip. It really made a difference, and made me human again!

I used to get waves of absolute exhaustion, like I'd been drugged, and I'd be half asleep at my desk, which meant I made lots of silly mistakes.
It should pass though.
