Anyone else feeling drained and about to blubber at the slightest thing??

I was sitting on the train watching an episode of Prison Break this morning when a bit came on where this guy was remembering how he'd snapped at his daughter and he was crying saying he was sorry (to his wife) etc (the guy was just about to die). Anyway, i got off the train and remembered the time that i smacked my DS1 when he was a tot but it was hard enough that i left a hand print on his little leg. I bawled all the way to work!!

I should point out that my DS is now 17 years old and doesn't hate me or anything so i'm guessing he probably doesn't remember but oh, the guilt i felt this morning!!!

It's made me feel sooooo emotional all day, even now. I think it's a culmination of tiredness and hormones.

Does anyone else get set off by silly things - things that just trigger memories or just make you bawl your eyes out?

PMSL beckmo

A mumsnetter who has become a real friend sent me a lovely chocolate gift box today for my birthday. It was a total suprise but I bawled.
Also another mnetter got me a lovely silver bracelet with 3 hearts on to represent all 3 of us.
Cue lots of tears

We have a cassette with baby songs on. The first one always makes me cry as it reminds me of when dd was a tiny baby.

LOL @ crying at Jezza Kyle. Nothing wrong with watching that programme when you're off work. In our house if we're off work it's COMPULSORY to watch Jezza!!!

LMAO @ Beckmo crying over a pepper "fetus". hahahaha that's really funny (but awwww very sweet). Bless ya cottons!!!

Yes, very teary over .... everything. Totally irrational as expected. Can't get the idea that there's a baby inside me, keep reading scary bits about missed mc etc. and convincing myself that something nasty has-will happen. Absolutely dumb.... but can't help it. So, constantly dead tired and teary eyed. My assistant offered me a cookie yesterday and I almost started bawling out loud.... And he is always going around, bearing 'gifts' so nothing new, just a nice chap. aahhh....
