We booked a holiday in June to Greece and I'm so looking forward to it as work has been really stressful recently. I am now worrying that when I fly back I will be 32 weeks pregnant - do you think I have been silly and this is too late into my pregnancy??

you may have problems with the airline- they may challenge you over how far along you are. I'd check with them first, and also insurance may be a problem- you'll have to try a few places before you'll get any.

you will need a letter from your doctor to confirm you are safe to fly. and double check with airline that will be enough. otherwise you should be fine. flight might be uncomfortable though.

yes, you might need a doctors note to say you ae ok to travel and definitely check with the insurance too...

you may also need to check your travel insurance -most don't cover you after 28 weeks so you may need to get specialist insurance (there are providers taht do it for up to 36 weeks)

Doctor may want to take extra blood for checks before he gives permission to fly so book appointment far enough in advance to recieve results.

I flew to and back from New York at 32 weeks and 34 weeks (different pregnancies) and took a doctor's note which the airline didn't ever ask to see.

Hiya... I had a lovely holiday in Greece when 32 wks PG with my DD. TBH I didnt take a DR note as I thought they only asked if you were 36 wks+. As well I was never very huge... so probably didnt look that PG anyway.

Good things were- skipping the queues at the airport! Just let someone know you are PG... and you go straight to the front.

If you have had a good, healthy, uneventful PG so far then I think there is no better time to travel. I did get quite hot though...as Greece does get boiling. I had a HUGE sunhat which was life saving! Drink lots of bottled water... watch what you eat... etc etc... (I ate loads of Greek salads... but just discovered that feta is unpasturised...I think).

Have a super time xx
