Does anyone know the average growth in the last 4 weeks?

Just wondered(and panicking!)as I'm exactly 36 weeks and after a growth scan today, found out the baby is already 7lbs 3oz's.
DS was 9lbs 2 when born and I've thought all along that this one was also going to be big.I'm under the consultant being monitored for possible pre-eclampsia and diabetes and they don't seem to be concerned about his size.
Hopefully I'm worrying about nothing but if anyone has a rough idea of how much bigger he's expected to get,I'd appreciate it,thanks.

I thought it was about half a pound a week.So as you said 1 oz a day. Think you can expect just over 9lbs.
My last one was 9lbs at about 36 weeks born at 38wks 9lb15

Mind you...9lbs isn't too bad.Just don't fancy going over the 10lb mark.

Had growth scan at 34 weeks last time and was told would be 5lbs and this was a real problem. Cried for days. DS was 7lb and very healthy. Load of rubbish.

My 3rd son was 10lb at 38 weeks..i had had a scan a few days earlier and they said he was 9lb 11..so they were very close then....

with my 4th son they induced at 40 weeks as they said he was bigger than 10lb..he came out at a little 8lb 5..so sometimes they can get it wrong...

i have heard half a pound per week.....and that counts for any over-due weeks too....

i also heard that every woman is different-some put on at end others don't.x

Oh well maybe I should take it all with a pinch of salt.At my 22 week scan it showed the babys tummy to be on the 95th centile and a few other factors showed him bigger than normal.I'm also measuring 2 weeks ahead and feel "ready to drop" so hopefully I won't even last another 4 weeks.
