Need help desperately - good physio/chiro/osteo for sacro-iliac pain in midlands?

Currently 21 1/2 weeks and crippled with sacro-iliac pain (pain in right buttock/lower back)!

Asking the mumsnet collective - has anybody suffered from this? Any tips? Any advice? What did you do to (try) to alleviate the pain?

But more importantrly anybody living in the midlands (in my case Shropshire) actually used a good physio/chiro/osteo that could recommend?

Currently my situation is getting worse by the day and can barely walk - the NHS response was to give me crutches and say they can't do much.

Can't help with a recommendation I'm afraid, but you could check here for one in your area.

Hope you get some relief soon.

Try this - governing body - to find a chiropractor near you. General Chiropractic Council

And for a McTimoney Chiropractor (so much kinder!) - McTimoney Chiropractic Association

God yes I suffered from this when I was not pg, however now it's just general stiffness and horrible sciatica.

I think positioning is quite important ie making sure everything is supported when you are sitting etc, and do you ever try a hot water bottle on the back?

I would say that you need to see m/w who can refer you to physio.
