Using up my leave before starting maternity. Stopped work 3weeks ago.

I'm so bored! Anyone else?

Can anyone recommend any good sky box sets?

I'm so bored. So, so bored. I'm 39+5. My first day of maternity leave was 9 days ago. The house is so clean. There is nothing more I can do. I can't get into my book and I can't be arsed with the TV. Woe is me! I just want my baby now!

I'm 40+3 and going out of my mind! I effectively left at 36 weeks as I'm a teacher so could use Xmas holidays.

Can't recommend anything, I'm doing lots of baking!

Get your hair cut. Go to the cinema. Research all the baby groups/breastfeeding groups/helplines near you and make a note of the times/numbers. Sleep!

Sleeping I'm doing! Its the only thing that i am doing.

Hardest thing is lack of energy
Can't go a walk cause it tires me too much.

As someone with a newborn I recommend baking (great to have nice food to grab), sleeping (if you can) and get yourself a pedi/mani. Oh and stock up on as much stuff as you can.

I can't tell you envious I am! I've got a 4 month old and although I hated being pregnant (particularly the last few weeks) I'd go back there in a heartbeat right now!
Treat yourself, enjoy doing things with 2 hands, watch shitty TV, go out for tea/lunch/cinema or just read mags and vegetate
I PROMISE you you will retreat not making the most of this time

I feel you all. I'm 38+2 and been off for 2 weeks so far. Totally fed up. Got loads to go but no energy or inclination to actually do any of it!!!

Regret not retreat

The thing is, this is dc2 for me. I know what is coming. Still preferable to heavily pregnant limbo!

Ah gotcha, and you're going back for more?!
Good luck with everything - hope all goes well x

Cook loads of food for the freezer, you'll really appreciate it when you are too tired to eat let alone cook with a newborn.

I hear you, I'm 40 weeks today, finished work at 29 weeks Sad

Baby number 3 so I also know what is coming but I'm so fed up now x

I keep cooking and dh and dd keep eating it! Dh will take over in the kitchen when this baby eventually arrives. Along with the housekeeping! I actually can't wait to have this baby now!
