Hey, im new to this..
Me and my partner recently decided we want another baby. I had the implant taken out yesterday and we slept together the night before and wondered if there is any possibilty you can fall pregnant that way?
Wondered if there is any other people who have or anything like that?

Depends at what stage of your cycle you're at - certainly possible. I had one period and fell pregnant the next month Xmas Smile

I had my first implant removed a week before my wedding, and got my positive test 5 weeks after - I had actually conceived my DD about 2 weeks after my implant was removed without having had a period.
Had another implant in after she was born, had it removed on 22nd January 2016 and conceived DS on Valentine's weekend, again without having a period in between.
Good Luck OP!!!!

It took me 18 months. Not to bring your excitement down, but not everyone gets pregnant quickly after removing the implant.

The unique selling point of the implant is that you will ovulate within 28 days of having it out.

Good luck! Thanks

Just be wary op that the implant can continue to affect you for up to a year after its removal. Some women cannot conceive for months after simply because their hormones are sorting themselves out, this is particularly if you've had it for an extended amount of time. My doctor neglected to inform me of this when I had it put in Hmmanyway might not be the case for you but don't get worried if it doesn't happen right away!

I had the implant out 20th of oct 16. Positive test 4.5 weeks later. I have had bleeding (one day of period style bleed) and spotting which i didnt have with the other two dcs. Whats more of a shock is that i released TWO eggs so twins on early scan. Ishould be grateful but.....urgh.

"your fertility should return to normal as soon as the implant is removed"

from here

All the anecdotes in the world tell you nothing about how you will get on.
None of us know what our fertility is like until we try to use it Wink

Exactly. Everyone is different. I have been looking at so many posts and literally you cannot tell how your going to be because everyone has different stories. Sometimes its just nice to hear others though :).

Im not guna put pressure on myself to fall pregnant, just let it happen naturaly Wink x

To be honest I had heard about the potential "surge" in fertility and increased likelihood of multiples in the month straight after removal! so we weren't really TTC for the first month, think we DTD twice lol
