Pregnancy

Is this possible?

This is my first post but feeling like a bit of a crazy person at the moment.. but need to get it out and possibly hear from people who've had similar experiences! Not sure if this is in the right section so apologies if it isn't!

Guess what I want to know is if anyone has experienced pregnancy symptoms a matter of days after conception?

We dtd on Thursday and from the next day I was definitely feeling different. We use a condom as we have said we are going to wait a few years before ttc so I don't think this would all be in my head as it's not what we were aiming for!

I've been headachey, exhausted and had a few cramps as well which I havent experienced for a couple of years now. I've got pain in the bottom of my back and even cried while watching A Year to Save My Life as the woman was able to have the surgery! This is DEFINITELY not like me Confused Sorry if TMI but I'm also getting a white discharge (which I've never had before!)..

I feel like I'm going crazy for even thinking that it could be possible and way too early to test and find out, so was hoping some one else has/is going through the same thing and could share or shed some light into what might be going on?

Biologically, it's too early for pregnancy symptoms. Your username suggests that your mind may be playing tricks on you - wishful thinking, maybe? Are you the same poster who asked for opinions on the name Rory over on the baby name board?

That would be me yes! As I said there the name conversation came up but I know there's no chance of us deciding to ttc any time soon. I am very broody but am more than happy to wait for my fiance to be ready.
I was just asking as I've not had these feelings before and couldn't think of why I would be getting them especially as protection was used! Also had no idea if it was even possible so soon!

Well, just make sure that he's being as considerate of your feelings too Smile

I had a multitude of 'symptoms' in the many months we didn't conceive, so I am maybe more suspicious than most of what seem to be early symptoms as I drove myself mad! Do you know why you had cramps a couple of years ago? Could you be run down or coming down with something? If you were using protection, I would suspect that might be more likely.

We've definitely brought the original "time scale" down a fair bit so there has been compromise Grin.
I never really found a definitive reason for the cramping before. But this isn't cramping like that anyway, it's not exactly painful but more of an annoyance if that makes sense?
I really don't know to be honest, ive been broody for a looong time now and this is the first I've felt symptoms like this, especially as it works out that they were probably my ovulation days as well, not 100% as I'm not keeping track!

Guess I'm just going to have to wait and see! Hope everything is going to plan with you? Are you still ttc?

It is odd, but I often found myself wondering how many months I did have similar 'symptoms' but never registered / noticed them because TTC wasn't on the radar. I'm glad your fiancé has compromised his timescale.

Baby Boy is due for us in February - thank you for asking - although, I'm not a massive fan of Rory Wink

Congratulations - that's fab Grin!
I have actually completely changed my mind on Rory now - I love it :P Little boy came in to where I work called Rory and my heart melted.. So have told the fiancé that if we end up with a boy, whenever that may be, then that will be his name :P

For me I started having symptoms about two weeks after conception. We had been trying but stopped a few months back as it was getting too much. I had seriously bad constipation which is very unlike me, not thinking I was actually pregnant tested to rule it out and I found out I was! It's not common to feel symptoms until symptoms until 8 weeks but I've been really unwell from that two week mark! Fingers crossed for your
