Im just looking for some advice, I recently had a miscarriage in September and I'm currently pregnant again, 5 weeks, I've been experiencing some cramp like period symptoms, I'm just worried incase it's happening again and I don't know how to feel about it. Is cramp normal in early pregnancy or is it something I should be worried about? Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Didn't want to leave you without a reply not that this is much.

I found out I was pregnant at five weeks and constantly felt like I was about to come on my period like a dull tell tale ache. But no blood at all. I also had an aching stomach like I had done a massive ab workout which I had not!

It's easy to get worried especially when things haven't turned out well in the past. But there is no evidence to say that because you have one miscarriage you are more likely to have another.

Keep an eye on things if you have any bleeding then I would call your GP or your hospitals Early Pregnancy unit for some reassurance

Congratulations!

It's a really scary time you just get through week by week don't you and every little twinge you think the worst I know.

The likelihood is your baby will be fine. You'll feel fragile for a few weeks but after that you might even be able to enjoy the pregnancy

I was exactly the same as you and now have an 18 month old.

Thanks so much, I know, worrying is just normal when you're pregnant I think! Just needed to know if it was normal to put my mind at ease for a bit.
