Any chance I'm pregnant?

I've had a few issues with my stomach increasing in size over the last few months and was wondering if anyone could help? It feels kind of like fat but it makes no sense to me at all. I had unprotected sex about 3 months ago, I've had 2 completely normal periods since then. I got very stressed about the time I started getting bloated as I was worried I was pregnant and in that month I had a far lighter period than usual.At the height of my stress I was feeling nauseous daily but this only lasted about a week.
I've lost weight over the last few months but my stomach appears to be fatter, than before, I'm not sure if it's still increasing or not, I'm being more active now than ever before, having just started a new job with a lot of movement involved. I've never had any weight gain issues in that area before (I'm only 20 and my metabolism is quite fast).

I took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and it was negative but I was wondering if anyone thinks there could still be a possibility I'm pregnant or if I've bought this all on myself with my stress?!

Why haven't you done another test much more recently just to rule that out? If its negative then you may have ibs or something. In which case gp. If its positive then you are clearly three months pg and need to make some immediate decisions...good luck!

Praying I'm not pregnant, to be truthful, I'm a little scared to take another test incase it's positive but I guess that can't be helped.
I had it because I was blind drunk and very very VERY stupid!!

I'm also a little paranoid about negative results, I've heard horror stories about the hook effect and women not realising they're pregnant until they're about to give birth, even heard one about blood tests showing up negative. let's just say I never plan to get myself into this horrible situation again regardless of the results this time round.

Those stories are incredibly unlikely to be you. Take a test, its what you need to do and you know it sweetie.

Id say you dont sound pg but stressed about being pg.

Petrol stations do tests but i wouldn't recommend it tonight. It can wait and you dont need the judgy looks. Tesco tomorrow for a two pack and back on here for support should you need it.

OP with those symptoms I really think you should go to the Dr's especially if you do take pregnancy test that's negative

Gp to your doctor op just in case. My friend had something similar and it was a large cyst which was easily removed.

Sounds like stress related IBS to me OP.

If you've had two normal periods since having sex and negative tests it's unlikely you're pregnant. Still worth going to the GP though. You should also get yourself tested for STIs and buy some condoms.
