Hey ladies,
I'm hoping someone can answer a few questions for me! Unfortunately I don't have any friends who have had Placenta Previa so I'm turning to Mumsnet in the hope someone can answer me some questions?! My midwife is lovely but didn't just handed me a leaflet - which didn't say right much if I'm honest.
At my 20w it was detected that I have Placenta Previa and it's covering 100% of my OS! I was told at the Scan that the majority of placentas move enough to have a natural birth. I've been booked in for my 32w Scan to check.
Then when I went to see my midwife last week she said that because it's covering 100% the likelihood of it moving is very slim.
I guess my questions are:
- Has anyone have PP 100% covering OS which has moved to have a natural birth?
- Up until now I've had no bleeding at all. Did you have bleeding? It says in the leaflet this could happen from 27w?!
- At your 32w of it hadn't moved were you put on bed rest or could you go about with your normal life?
I'm not stressing about it - I just want some unanswered questions answering :) I guess what will be will be but I'd just like to be more prepared mentally!
Thank x
