Pregnancy

Is anyone else fed up...

...they can't tell anyone about their pregnancy yet? dh and I have decided to wait until our first scan to tell the world in general (we've told our parents) I'm sooooo tired and feeling like poo all the time, and I can't have a good proper winge about it (apart from here, sorry to be burden!) Today on the tube in to work I was pushed around by three different people. Someone (very rightly) stood up for an obviously pregnant woman, and I had to strap hang all the while feeling like I was going to chuck.

Work is also really difficult, I'm in an awkward situation in which I've applied for a new job (an internal application within my company), and I'm still waiting to hear about that (I probably won't be able to take up the offer due to physical nature of the job, will have to defer hopefully!) but I feel horribly guilty not telling anyone about being pregnant. I really want the job, but I feel really bad that someone may lose out, and I'll get the job, only to have to put it on hold for a bit.

Sorry to winge on, but is anyone else feeling this tired/frustrated about early pregnancy and not being in a position to tell anyone?

I'm not but I was! it is just the omst exciting time of your life nad you can't share it. The worst was not telling our dd (8yrs old at the time) until we knew evertying was OK. Very frustrating!
Worth it thought to be sure everying is fine and dandy. Congrats!

I did sometimes tell people on the tube - just walked over to young blokes in the priority seats and said 'excuse me I'm pregnant and I'm going to be sick if I can't sit down'. You will never have seen a young man run so fast I promise

I did find it a real struggle at work sometimes with feeling sick but it goes past faster than you think. Don't feel guilty about getting the job you want - if it goes to someone else, then it won't be there for you when you get back will it?

Congrats
