Ever since I spent a whole pregnancy heroically resisting my craving for peanut m & m’s due to nut allergy advice, only to find later that I needn’t have bothered, I have felt a little rebellious with this long list of pregnancy do’s and don’ts. So this pregnancy I have decided to break a few rules.
- Dyed my hair despite those ominous warnings (it looks the biz and it counters that unattractive heifer feeling).
- I cross my legs in public places so I don’t loll around spread-eagled like a drunk at a bus stop.
- I eat what I crave, be it garlic, onion, chilli or cereals drenched in milk despite these things giving me crippling heartburn and indigestion. I ENJOY moaning, groaning and draping myself over furniture seeking relief. It makes me feel dramatic.
- Never weighed myself and not about to keep an eye on it now, thanks midwife buddy.
- Eating chicken from even the dingiest take-out and slapping on mayo like it’s not going to be available in 2017.
- Haven’t done a pelvic floor exercise. Have checked out price of lady-wee-pads and they’re quite reasonable.
Anyone else??
