Hi everyone, I'm just looking for some reassurance really. I miscarried my first ever pregnancy on 27th August (Id only found out 3 hours before I started bleeding and would have only been 3 weeks 4 days so is it a chemical pregnancy?) and am now 4weeks 3 days pregnant. I know it's such early days, but I'm so anxious the same thing will happen I just wanted to hear of any success stories really. Any advice on how to cope with the worry? Thanks in advance for any comments xxxx

Heey. Last year I had 2 miscarriages one at 7 weeks but was missed until 11 weeks and one around 5 weeks. It was an awful year extremely upsetting and the 2nd even happened around Xmas so a rubbish Xmas.... however! I am now 36 weeks pregnant and being induced Sunday with twin girls!! I firmly believe it was fate that our 2 babies r back! Pregnancy has been a smooth sail even though I've been considered high risk from the start given they are sharing a placenta both me and babies r fine. Apart from being very uncomfortable now! Lol.
I reeeally really hope everything works out for u and don't give up hope! I no with this being our third pregnancy I had all sorts running through my mind and was scared to get too excited too soon but it will all work out for u. Xxx

Hi OP. I was you 3 years ago. It was a very very anxious time but 2yo DC2 is sitting on my lap right now! Try to occupy your mind in something positive and enjoy your pregnancy. Easier said than done I know!

Thanks so much you guys. I'm so emotional I feel like crying reading this lol. I'm a mess!! I'm trying to think positive but then try and reign it in as if that will help if I do miscarry again. Congratulations on your pregnancies, wow twin girls!! How exciting xx

I know how you feel cool, I miscarried in July and was so scared to see a BFP this morning. I want to be excited but I also don't want to get my hopes up if this pregnancy doesn't last. Trying to put it to the back of my mind for now and whatever will be, will be.

I'm sorry op flowers. Congratulations on your second pregnancy.

I had a mmc picked up at the scan last year, it was my first after trying a long time. I had a bfp this year and am now in my third trimester. I can't say I've stopped being anxious in all truth.

First trimester I completely detached and then when I saw the scan I burst into tears and couldn't stop. Second trimester I started to bond which upped the anxiety and now I'm in the third I get nervous when baby doesn't move as much.

I have found meditation and yoga has helped calm me some, may be worth looking at the meditation now?

Thanks guys. High Hopes, if all goes well we will be due around the same time then I'm guessing. I've got my fingers crossed for you. Tiredness, thanks I'll look into meditation xx
