So I am really bad at blood tests, I faint, feel like I am going to poo myself, cold sweats and can't move limbs, I nearly ended up in A&E during it a while ago.
I have discovered that if I have some sugar (chocolate) while having the blood taken I don't pass out. This discovery is such a relief.
Now, today I went to get checked as I noticed reduced fetal movement, its the second time (I am anxious as had a miscarriage earlier in the year) they put me on a monitor (heart rate ok) then had a scan. The sonographer said baby was a little big but asked how bug was DD (3kg 900)so she said "oh well you just make big babies". She estimated this one is 2kg already at 31 + 4.
I was asked to go back to the ward to talk to Dr. Another 30min wait and a nurse comes in saying I have an appointment for GTT and I can go.
It left me totally anxious. I just can't think I can face this test without a panic attack plus I keep thinking if I hadn't gone up today by my own will they would not have given me this appointment. I have been crying the rest if the day.
Please don't shout at me DP has given me enough crap saying am not being rational.
So bearing all this in mind, would you go? Do you think is totally necessary?
